Julià & Navinès is a small, independent winery, neatly located on the hillsides right above Spain’s north-eastern rocky coast. Their winemaking will show you a Cava expressing a distinctive mix of French finesse and Spanish passion.

They have been devoting their efforts to the growing of vines and production of wines and Cava since the early 20th century but it was only in 1985 that they started to commercialize their wines under the brand name Julià & Navinès

The Masia Navinès is located in Font-Rubí, Alt Penedès, Barcelona. When you look over at the horizon you will see an endless landscape of vineyards, olive trees and cereals, the three pillars of the Mediterranean diet. It is a very special place where the climatic conditions and the perfect balance of Mediterranean soils create a privileged area for the growth of vineyards making it perfect for exceptional quality wines and Cava.

What allows Masía Julià & Navinès to offer these selected wines and Cava is a combination of handcraft, tradition, innovation, kindness and perseverance. The quality and prestige of this small project of passion has been acknowledged and enhanced by the most well-regarded international tastings.

This is a new era for Cava, as it is coming out of the shadow of other leading sparkling wine styles and has begun to provoke serious waves around the world. The Cava that Julià & Navinès elaborates is crafted after a careful selection of wines with controlled fermentation from traditional Penedès varieties: Macabeu, Xarel·lo, Parellada ‘coupages’ and likewise with the Chardonnay variety, according to the principles of the traditional method ‘Champenoise’. The rosé Cava is 100% Pinot Noir.

Ultimately, they blend the best of both worlds which is reflected in their traditional methods, small batch vinification, organic-influenced approach and ferociously independent spirit. Handpicked grapes, grown beneath the blazing sunshine and cooled by fresh sea breezes, result in a Cava that is impossible to forget.

As a way to portray their brand and its spirit, Julià & Navinès has chosen the image of the Greek Goodness Eno, who has the power to transform water into wine. It is the icon of the winery and all their product range, conveying the importance of wine in the Mediterranean culture.
